Bathroom Refurb, Warwickshire

Removal of the stud walls forming the original layout of separate lavatory / bathroom, allowed the creation of this generously proportioned family bathroom in a newly purchased property, in  need of modernisation.  With a little guidance from myself, the client sourced all of the fittings, suite, and tiles online, and picked up some real bargains.  I supplied all building materials.

The walls and ceiling were over-boarded with plasterboard, and with cement Aquapanel in the shower enclosure, and the room was fully skimmed.  The shower valve was positioned for ease of turning on without getting your arm wet.  Note also the addition of a ‘niche’ within the tiled shower wall to house shampoo bottles.

Walls & ceiling are finished in ‘Dulux Bathroom Plus’ mould-resistant paint, in white.  Ceiling downlights are ‘Enlight’ integrated LED in warm white.

Duration of project was 4.5 weeks.
